Hailie Deegan in Pocono With iK9 for Second Career ARCA Race

Hailie Deegan is set for her second career ARCA race after her first race ended after just 29 laps two weeks ago in Toledo after getting involved in an incident. This time she’s at Pocono Raceway for the first time in her career for the General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200, where she will be wheeling the No. 55 iK9 Toyota for Venturini Motorsports.

Wednesday she took to the track with the rest of the ARCA field for her first practice session. She clocked in a fastest lap time of 54.763-seconds, which was 11th fastest of the 17 cars on the track, just 1.585-seconds off the fastest overall time posted by Christian Eckes.

The practice session was scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm, however, it was shortened by two hours due to fog on the track. Thursday will be a slow day for Deegan, with no on-track activity, then things will kick into high gear for her on Friday with a full day of action.

The garage opens up on Friday at 7 am for crews to start work on the cars. Meanwhile, Deegan will have to report to the rookie drivers meeting at 7:15 am in the Pocono Penthouse Club.

She will then take part in rookie rides from 7:45 – 8 am, before taking to practice from 9 – 10 am, and then qualifying starts at noon.

After qualifying, Deegan will have a slight break before heading to the drivers meeting at 1:30 pm. Then she will take time for some media obligations, including a press conference in the media center at 2:45 pm which you can tune in and watch live here.

Then she will have a bit of time to meet with her team and focus in on the mission at hand before gearing up for the 80-lap, 200-mile race with the green flag set to fly to start the General Tire #AnywhereisPossible 200 at 5:45 pm Friday evening.
