05 Jun 1st Foundation Sponsored Driver Brandon Jones Looks to Bounce Back at Michigan
1st Foundation sponsored driver Brandon Jones is headed to Michigan International Speedway this weekend for action in the LTi Printing 250 on Saturday, June 8th. Jones currently sits 12th in the Xfinity Series points standings and will look to improve that position traveling to a familiar place this weekend where he has seen success in the past.
This will be Jones 7th trip to the track, and 4th time competing in the Xfinity Series. His best finish in the Xfinity Series at MIS came back in 2017 as he finished 9th. However, Jones has pulled into victory lane twice in his past at the track in both 2016 and 2017 in the ARCA series.
His success looked like it would continue in the ARCA Series last season after claiming the pole position. However, after just 27 laps he had to bow out of the race after his engine overheated.
This weekend he will be looking for double redemption, not only for last seasons early bow out in ARCA, but additionally for last weekends early exit at Pocono. He was forced to settle for a last-place finish after spinning and ending up in the outside wall, in turn, one after completing just six laps.
You can catch the 1st Foundation sponsored driver in action multiple times this weekend. To start things off, he will take to first practice on Friday at 1:05 pm EST, which you can watch at NASCAR.com/live. Jones second practice session, starting at 3:05 pm EST, will be broadcast live on FS2.
Then on Saturday, things kick into high gear for the 1st Foundation sponsored driver with qualifying to start at 10:30 am EST, live on FS2. After that, he will be gearing up for the drop of the green flag for the start of the LTi Printing 250 set to fly just after 1:30 pm EST, where you can catch the action live on FS1.
